May 28, 2010 at 7:04 PM

I am seeing many apparently wrong dates and times on messages from the MS Communities.

WHICH version are you using?

There was a bugfix in version V06... if you have at least this version, then please specify "wrong"...

It is possible that this was downloaded prior to my putting a new version on, I have been upgrading as each version came out. But I do not know.

But I think these messages came down after I had upgraded to v.13.

WHAT problem are your seeing? Can you post the article source of a time problematic post?

All dates are in UTC; maybe your client is not able to convert that into local times... what client are you using?

I am using WLM and I am not quite certain how to get a snip as either an attachment of insert here.

The dates showing are indicating the post was made on May 31 and appears to be from a Slavic country.

Just select a message in the list pane, right click, select properties, then show source and copy/paste it here

Uh... the message does NOT seem to be from the forums nor from the NNTP bridge at all :)

see, the newsgroup name and the other headers indicate it's a regular microsoft NNTP newsgroups post, not a forum one

So this message did not come from the bridge....this is the first I have ever put this group in and it appeared after the bridge was installed. I will just wait and see how things work out.

William... did you follow the instructions shown here http://communitybridge.codeplex.com/documentation to set up the bridge ?

Also, after setting it up and starting it, did you create a new "News" account in your WLM pointing to 127.0.0.1 as the server ?

If not, please do it

I thought I had, but will have to get at it and check later as I have to go now.

OK, found something went into the account incorrectly. I deleted the account, then set it up again and it seems to be working. Sorry, I could tell you knew it should not be this way and that you had corrected the problem. Your patience with me is appreciated.
